Dawn and Gretchen have been friends for over 20 years. Both grew up in small towns, Dawn in Iowa and Gretchen in Missouri. Coincidentally enough, Dawn moved to Missouri and Gretchen to Iowa with their families. Both are mothers of sons (and dogs of course) and both pursued careers in teaching. Dawn’s career was cut short when she was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2015 and is still fighting it today. Together they bring their love of dogs, children, and teaching together to write what they are both passionate about…writing, teaching and creating. In their spare time you can find them crafting and conversing almost daily.
